This time, the theme is ‘Amaluna’, ‘an island ruled by goddesses and guided by the cycles of the moon’. The plot: ‘Their queen, Prospera, directs her daughter’s coming-of-age ceremony in a rite that honours femininity, renewal, rebirth and balance which marks the passing of these insights and values from one generation to the next. ‘In the wake of a storm caused by Prospera, a group of young men lands on the island, triggering an epic, emotional story of love between Prospera’s daughter and a brave young suitor. But theirs is a love that will be put to the test. The couple must face numerous demanding trials and overcome daunting setbacks before they can achieve mutual trust, faith and harmony.’

Princesses will have their very own Fairy-Godmother-in-Training who will provide a choice of hair-dos, face paints, nail varnish coloursand accessories. The best bit? A totally custom-designed ball gown madeout of only the finest fabrics, befitting a princess and exclusive to the Disney Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at Harrods. What makes this experience most unique is that the Fairy- Godmother-in-Training will not just be transforming little girls in appearance, but will also share compelling ‘stories from across the land about Princesses who are kind, loyal, caring and a friend to all’. Little girls will learn what it means to be a princess inside Harrods’ enchanting castle, after which they will enjoy a regal makeover in The Royal Chamber. According to Harrods, ‘The Boutique photography team will capture special moments throughout the entire experience, allowing each Princess to go home with their lasting memories.’ With a host of other goodies, such as a Crystal Cinderella slipper, a luxury travel case and a commemorative certificate to take home, this will prove to be a delightfully magical treat.
